Suicidal feelings are not uncommon, but most people don’t act on them.
Although these feelings may be very persistent for a time, with appropriate help and support they do subside. When they go away, most people are so glad that they didn’t act on them.
‘Choose Life’ emphasises the fact that we do have the power of choice even when we feel so terrible. We do not have to give in to those feelings. We can choose to find help and support. When we exercise this choice the power of those negative feelings gradually diminishes and hope returns. There is hope and help available – for you!
